1 Introduction

Welcome to Construction Calculator Pro (“we”, “our”, or “us”), developed and published by Winterfield Intelligence. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through full compliance with this Privacy Policy and Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the User Data policy.

This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you download, install, and use the mobile application Construction Calculator Pro (Package ID: com.winterfieldintelligence.constructioncalculatorpro). The app works fully offline: it performs construction calculations, bar-bending schedules, drawings, BOQ helpers and notes on your device and has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising SDKs.

2 No User Account & No Login Required

Construction Calculator Pro does not require any user registration, login, or account creation.

• You can use every feature immediately upon installation without providing any personal information.
• We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or passwords.
• We do not create or maintain online user accounts for this application.

3 Information Stored on Your Device

A. Calculations you save. Saved results, BOQ projects and items, site notes, custom formulas, material rates and app settings (role, region, units, theme) are kept in the app's private on-device storage.

B. Local backup. If you use the in-app backup option, a backup file is written to the app's private storage on the same device.

C. PDFs and shares you explicitly request. A PDF is generated only when you tap a PDF / Export button, and content leaves the app only when you tap Share — to the app you choose in the Android share sheet.

4 Device Permissions

The app requests no sensitive device permissions:

• No camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, storage, or phone-state access is requested or used.
• PDFs are created in the app's private cache and shared through the system share sheet, which needs no permission.

The app does not track your IP address, device identifiers, or precise location.

5 PDF Reports & Sharing Happen Only When You Ask

Tapping a PDF, Share, or +BOQ button acts only on the calculation shown on your screen. Nothing is generated, uploaded, or shared automatically in the background.

6 Data Sharing, Selling & Third-Party Access

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user data with third parties.

Construction Calculator Pro contains no behavioral tracking, advertising identifiers, analytics scripts, or social SDKs that profile activity across apps or websites. Optional actions you initiate — such as opening the Play Store page, sending a support email, or sharing content — are handled by those third-party apps under their own policies. The app itself is fully free with no purchases of any kind.

7 Children's Privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families Policy)

Construction Calculator Pro is a general-audience construction utility.

• We comply fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policies.
• We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where applicable law requires).
• Because the app has no accounts, personal-data forms, analytics, or ads, no children's personal data is ever obtained.

8 Data Retention & User Control / Deletion

Because everything is stored locally on your device, you hold full control at all times:

• Delete saved items: remove saved calculations, BOQ projects, notes, formulas, or history entries inside the app at any time.
• Clear App Data: Android Settings > Apps > Construction Calculator Pro > Storage > Clear Data.
• Uninstall: uninstalling the app permanently removes all locally stored data from your device.

There is no server-side copy to delete, because none exists.

9 Security

All records live in app-private storage and preferences that no other app can read. By keeping everything on-device with no login servers, the attack surface is minimal.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so please also protect your device with a screen lock and keep Android up to date.

10 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or app features. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date” at the top of the policy. The same updated text ships inside the app.
