Powerful automation. Made simple — and private. Everything you automate stays on your device by default.
Welcome to Tasker Tools (“we”, “our”, or “us”), developed and published by Winterfield Intelligence. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you download, install, and use the mobile application Tasker Tools (Package ID: com.winterfieldintelligence.taskertools).
Tasker Tools is an automation app that runs entirely on your phone: your automations, run history, templates, and settings live in app-private on-device storage. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no Winterfield Intelligence servers receiving your data — through full compliance with this Privacy Policy and Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the User Data policy.
Tasker Tools does not require any user registration, login, or account creation.
A. Automations you create. Names, triggers (e.g. a Bluetooth device name, Wi-Fi SSID, or place coordinates you type), conditions, and action steps are kept in an app-private on-device database so your routines keep working offline.
B. Execution history. Run results, step-by-step logs, and diagnostics you enable are stored locally so the Activity screen can explain what ran, what failed, and why.
C. Preferences & templates. Theme, Simple/Advanced mode, custom templates, and app settings live in on-device preferences storage.
D. Backups you explicitly export. Only when you tap Export/Share is a .tasktools backup file written — to a location you choose or the share target you pick. We never create, upload, or keep copies of it.
E. Files your automations create. File steps are sandboxed to the app's own private folder, which no other app can read.
The app requests permissions progressively — only when a trigger or action you added needs them, never all at once at install. Denying a permission simply skips the steps that need it, with a plain-language reason shown in the app.
The app does not request contacts, microphone recording, or body-sensor access. Voice input uses Android's system speech recognizer, which runs under that system app's own policy.
Tasker Tools does not operate an AccessibilityService and does not use the Accessibility API in any way.
The “Describe your automation” builder parses your words with rules that run entirely on your phone. Your descriptions are never sent to any server, AI provider, or third party.
The app has no background network activity of its own. Network is used only when you add a step that needs it — a webhook URL you type, or opening a link — in which case that request goes directly to the address you specified, under that service's policy.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any user data with third parties.
Tasker Tools contains no behavioral tracking, advertising identifiers, analytics scripts, crash-reporting SDKs, or social SDKs that profile activity across apps or websites. We do not track your IP address or device identifiers.
Tasker Tools is a general-audience utility.
Because everything is stored locally on your device, you hold full control at all times:
There is no server-side copy to delete, because none exists.
Automations, logs, and files live in app-private storage and the app sandbox, which no other app can read. By keeping everything on-device with no login servers, the attack surface is minimal.
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so please also protect your device with a screen lock and keep Android up to date.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or app features. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date” at the top of the policy. The same updated text ships inside the app.
